May 1, 1930 - Nov 20, 2017
Victor Hugh Tunbridge passed away suddenly in Abbotsford Regional Hospital on November 20th, 2017. He was born in Mission City, B.C. on May 1st, 1930.

Vic was a retired Chartered General Accountant, who enjoyed every day living life with his family. He was a long time Chilliwack resident who was very involved with our community.

Vic was raised with his two brothers, Fred and Bill and two sisters, Joy and Lynne, on the family farm in Mission City, B.C. His mother and father, Florence and Edward, instilled into all of their children a sense of community and a strong work ethic. All three brothers were named Chilliwack Citizens to be Recognized in 1987.

Dad was an inspiration to all who knew him and all who were a part of his last journey. He only wanted to be home as nothing made him happier than to be sitting in the living room, Charlie on his lap, a glass of wine in his hand surrounded by family and friends.

Victor is survived by his loving daughter and son in law, Vicki and Bob, and his grandchildren, Zachary (Courtney) and Rebecca (Dane); his son, Scott of Victoria; his brother William (Bill) of Chilliwack and his sister Merrilynne of Calgary, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.

Vic is predeceased by his parents, his brother Fred, his sister Joy and his wife Jean. He missed Jean for the past 19 years, finally they are together again.

Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 3rd, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Chilliwack Curling Club, 9291 Corbould Street, Chilliwack, B.C.
