Victor Carl Dalstrom passed away peacefully with his wife and daughter by his side, on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Chilliwack Hospital, at the age of 93 years.
Victor was born in Sweden and came to Canada as a boy with his family, in 1927. He loved the outdoors, working as a logger and spending time hunting, fishing and camping throughout BC. Victor was a kind and gentle man who worked hard without complaint and was devoted to his family.
Victor is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Norma; his daughter, Lynnette (Tim) and grandchildren, Kathleen and Thomas; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack.
In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society of BC in Victor’s memory.
