Penner, Vern
Vern passed away quietly on May 23, 2014 at Vernon Jubilee Hospital. He is survived by his five daughters.
Vern was the consummate salesman starting his career at Eaton's and then moving to Langley where he owned and operated Tru-Fit Shoes for 20 years. After raising his family he moved to Vernon, BC and sold safety shoes and equipment province wide until he retired.
In his spare time Vern was an avid fisherman and outdoor enthusiast. He loved to go camping and was never one to abandon a friend in need.
Vern was always ready to pitch in and lend a helping hand. He will be sadly missed and not forgotten.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on June 2, 2014 at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home, 4303 Pleasant Valley Road, Vernon, BC.
