of Chilliwack, formerly of Cranbrook, passed away October 19th, 2006 at the age of 61 years. He was born on October 12, 1945 in High River, AB.
Vern will be forever remembered by his wife Dawn and children Ken (Jamie) of Cranbrook, Ricky (Ian) of Vancouver, Tracy (Bruce) of Chilliwack, and Laura, along with his grandson Derek (Megan) of Calgary. Vern is also survived by his brothers Roy (Vivian) Nelson, Cayley, AB, Warren (Rachel) Nelson, Winnipeg, MN, sister Rita (Stan) Fisher, Pincher Creek, AB, and sister-in-law Wilma Nelson, High River, AB. Vern was predeceased by his brother Leonard Nelson and his parents Alfred and Ella Nelson.
A funeral service and Celebration of Life will be held on Friday October 27, 2006 at 4:00 PM at the Eagles Hall, 711 Kootenay St in Cranbrook, BC.
