Val Donegan: born May 7, 1943 in Nanaimo B.C. Val died peacefully May 29, 2009 at the Burnaby General Hospital.
In faith we believe Val is now being welcomed into heaven by his parents, James and Theo and his infant son Mark.
This side of heaven, Val leaves to mourn his children: Maureen (Mark), Jim (Lori), Colleen (John) and Jeff (Marsha); their mother Maureen; his grandchildren: Shauna, Michael, Dylan, Brendan, Jordan, Giovanni, Jeffrey, Sara, Emma and Mateo; his brothers Gerald (Julie) and Ian and many other family. Val’s generous heart was always focused first on his family, his children and grandchildren, and a close second was his love of golf.
Prayers will take place Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 7 PM at St. Mary’s CatholicChurch, 8909 Mary St. Chilliwack, B.C.
A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Mary’s Thursday June 4, 2009 at 11 AM. Fr. Paul Than Bui Celebrant.
