On June 2, 2013 at the young and glamorous age of 80, our darling Mother, Oma, and friend was finally at peace. She was a wonderful woman, the youngest of 5 sisters (all from Germany) and touched the hearts of many. She was always cheerful and friendly to everyone she met. There was a lot of joy with Ursula when she was around the people and things she loved. She loved cooking / baking and always made sure there was plenty to go around. She loved all the time she spent with her family and especially her granddaughters Michaela and Tamara. They were her life and she let everyone around her know it. Ursula was predeceased in January 2000 by her husband George. She leaves behind her son Markus (Debbie) and granddaughters, Michaela and Tamara of Chilliwack; her son Gerhard and son Ulli of Germany, and her daughter Ilona and sons Fadi and Reslan of Germany. We will be having a celebration of life for Ursula at the First Mennonite Church (River of Life) at 42369 South Sumas Road, Greendale on Sunday, June 22 at 2 pm. Please bring many happy memories with you.
