Lintick; Ursula Brigitte. Ursula passed away suddenly on November 1, 2013 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital, at the age of 75 years. She was born on January 9, 1938 in East Prussia, Germany, to parents Ernst and Emilie Linau. She emigrated with her family to Canada in 1953, settling in southern Alberta. Ursula worked in Lethbridge, Calgary and Edmonton before moving to Manitoba. From there she relocated to Chilliwack, working for some twenty years in the Fraser Valley Foods office. Following FVF's closure, she worked at the Chilliwack Progress and then the Abbotsford News office until her retirement. Hiking, gardening and housekeeping were activities that kept her very active right until the end.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Vascular Surgeon Dr. Robert Smith, Dr. Neil McLean and Andrew Neitzel, as well as nurses Lydia, Breanne, Breana, David and Mark at the Abbotsford Hospital for their valiant efforts and care. They would also like to thank all the staff at Chilliwack General Hospital for Mom's great care. Deeply affected by her passing are Daren and Nadia Lintick, Evan Lintick, Gerald Linau, Eric Linden, and many friends and relatives in California, Germany and many other places in Canada. Funeral Services will be held at 2PM on Friday November 8th from the chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home. Cremation to follow and a celebration of her life with urn burial has been planned for the spring. Flowers or donations to a charity of your choice can be made through Henderson's.
