McROBERTS, Tyler Eugene

January 28, 1977 - September 4, 2016

It is with great sorrow that we share the sudden passing of Tyler McRoberts in Fort St. John on September 4th. He is survived by the loves of his life - his wife Kelli, son Justin and daughter Lauryn - who will forever love him to the Moon and Back! Tyler also leaves his parents Ken & Janice McRoberts, his sister Becki (Tonny) Cormier and their family, and his niece Jordan Loewen as well as Kelli's mother Veronica Hampton. He is sadly missed by his large family of aunts, uncles and cousins, and many friends. Tyler was born in Dawson Creek, BC, lived in Prince George, BC until he was 10 years old, and then moved to Chilliwack with his family. He played Little League Ball and Minor Hockey through his teen years, began refereeing hockey at 12 and continued through his adult years. He graduated from Sardis Senior Secondary in 1995, earned his Business Diploma at UCFV and achieved his Certified General Accountant Designation in 2008. Three years ago he realized his dream of opening his own office - Tyler McRoberts Inc - and was growing his business in Fort St John until his passing. A Celebration of Life was held in Fort St John on September 17th and he was laid to rest in the Prince George Cemetery with his Uncle Daryl Isabelle and his grandparents, Bud and Lois Isabelle. He was also predeceased by his grandparents Jim and Ruby McRoberts. He will be in our hearts forever and we pray that he has found peace. Memorial donations may be made to Huntington's Disease Research at UBC.
