It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob Murphy on September 29, 2005 at R.C.H. New Westminster, B.C. He was born in Walkerburn, Manitoba on January 02, 1931.
Survived by his son Brian (Eddi) of Chilliwack, daughter Eileen Ellis of Edmonton, grandchildren Wendy of Edmonton, Dale, Jillian and Carrie of Chilliwack, great-grandson Kody of Edmonton and numerous other relatives. Predeceased by his parents William and Blanche, his wife Marion, son Lawrence and brothers Henry, Edward and Frances.
Bob worked in the logging industry before becoming the superintendent of grounds at the Chilliwack Golf & Country Club for 27 years. Those who knew him will remember his constant teasing and biting sense of humor.
Dad loved to read and spend time with his family, especially his grandkids. He also enjoyed feeding his feathered friends and “Kenny” the squirrel.
