Tillie Oleksy
Tillie Oleksy, 86, of Chilliwack, BC passed away on November 3, 2017 at 6:23 pm surrounded by her family.
Born in Brosseau, AB in 1930 to parents Metro and Jean (nee Popowich) Hyrhirchuk she married Peter Oleksy October 8, 1950 in Chilliwack, BC. They made their home in the Fraser Valley where they raised their two sons.
She is predeceased by her father, mother, husband and son Earl.
Tillie is survived by her brother Victor (Dale) Hyrhirchuk, son Ted (Linda) Oleksy, daughter-in-law Sandy Oleksy, Grandchildren Trevor, Brad (Stacy), Amanda, Abby, Adam Great Grandchildren Sara, Kayla, Ayden, Christian Oleksy and Great Great Granddaughter Kacey Bliss.
Her funeral services will be held on November 8, 2017 at 11:00 am at Henderson's Funeral Home in Chilliwack with a celebration of life to follow at the Agassiz Legion from 1:00-4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
