Thomas Wright Carter late of Westbank, passed away peacefully at the Kelowna General Hospital on Sept.15, 2003 at the age of 62 years.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Jackie, his stepson Del (Lisa) of Chilliwack, step daughters Charlotte (Stephan), Jay, Crystal and Rilla all of Chilliwack. He is also survived by his children Steve, Debbie and Ron, all of the lower mainland, as well as eight grand children, sister Rosie of 100 Mile House and one step brother. His niece Carrie (Kelly) and their two children, all of Surrey, uncle Frank of Chilliwack, and numerous other nieces, nephews and close family friends.
Public visitation will be held from 12:00 pm — 1:00 pm on Monday, Sept. 22, 2003 at Henderson’s Funeral Home in Chilliwack.
Funeral Services follow in Henderson’s Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 pm with Reverend Wayne Wattman officiating.
Interment will take place at the Chilliwack Cemeteries and a reception will be held from Henderson’s Funeral Home Tea Room.
Tom will long be remembered in the community for his active involvement in local 5 Pin Bowling. He was the President of the Chilliwack 5 Pin Bowling Association, and a Master Bowler of BC. He also served for many years as a YBC coach. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially loved to fish.
