Roy lived on his farm his entire life. In his early years he worked in the logging industry as a tree faller at Jones Lake and Port McNeil, before returning and taking up dairy farming, beef cattle and raising sheep. But always wanting to get behind the saw, cutting pulpwood and filling his barn with firewood. He had a great love of the outdoors. His hobbies were fishing and hunting and love of his Springer Spaniel dogs. In retirement Roy and Rita liked to travel to California, Palm Springs, Reno and Alaska. A special thank you to all the home supports whom extended his stay at home and to the Chilliwack Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the B.C. Cancer foundation in Roy’s name.
