Thomas Arthur Cook passed away peacefully at the Gorge Road Hospital (Waterview Unit) in Victoria, BC on March 8, 2011. He was born August 25, 1932 in Preeceville, Saskatchewan.
Art was a much loved family man who was known for his kindness, integrity and energy. He loved to golf, dance, travel, bowl and play cards with his family.
He was predeceased by his wife Jacqueline (1998), his two daughters Melody (1993) and Deborah (2005) and one brother Bud (2010). He is survived by his loving son Tom (Lydia), six grandchildren Rachelle (Sam), Mark, Brittany, Heather, Tanner, Cole and one great-grandchild Alexander; brothers and sisters Dorothy (Murray), Jack (Avis), Don (Linda), Elaine, Myrna (Dale), Donna (Jim), and sister-in-law Elaine.
There will be no funeral service at Art’s request. Art will be laid to rest beside his wife Jacqueline in Chilliwack, BC.
