With much love and sadness we announce the passing of Thessel Gust at the age of 97 at Eden Care Centre on November 7, 2022.
Born February 20, 1925 to Sadie and William (Bill) Geottler in Mortlach, Sask. Moved to Chilliwack in 1932 and resided there for the rest of her life.
Thessel and Ed travelled south for 20 years in their RV's as well as exploring other parts of the world. She had many interests thru the years including fishing, line dancing, bowling, playing cards with friends and was an avid gardener. She took great pride in her flower gardens.
Thessel is predeceased by her husband Ed of 58 years. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Findlay; son Ron Gust; daughter Karen (Larrie) Morrison; grandchildren Rhonda (Bill) Gust; David (Sheryl) Gust; Rob Morrison; and Chris (Irene) Morrison; great grandchildren Amanda (Alex) Milne; Reichen Morrison; Hayden Gust; Adalynn Gust; and great-great grandchild Spencer Milne.
A family graveside service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the nurses and care staff at Eden Care Centre for their kind and sensitive care.
