Theodor (Ted) Gerbrandt
Ted passed away peacefully at home on February 12th, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was the 16th child, born on May 12th, 1931 in Edenthal, MB. Ted is survived by his wife Tina (Spenst) married almost 65 years; son Doug, daughters Pat (Rick) Good, Janette (Vic) Isaak, Julie (Kevin) Traas; grandchildren Brayden, Larissa, and Jordan. He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Katherina; six sisters and nine brothers. Ted had many jobs-working mainly as a general contractor in BC. He was a member of the Chilliwack Lions Club and loved to curl, bowl, coach, and play baseball. Everyone loved to come to Ted's house to play games. A special thank-you to Dr. Madill and Fraser Health for all their support. A reception will take place on Friday, February 17th at 2:00 pm at Main Street Church, 9325 Main Street.
