Born to Carl & Jesse Bjorge in Norquay, Saskatchewan, raised near Baytree, Alberta
Predeceased by her brother Cliff and sister Aleta, survived by Brother Ray and sister Myrtle.
Also predeceased by husband Tom Curtis; and Arnold Ferguson father of their 6 surviving children: Wesley, Lynn, Lyle, Lee, Marlene & Keith
Also 11 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren.
Thelma & Arnold homesteaded near Bonanza, Alberta from 1951 to 1966 at which time they moved to Chilliwack. Thelma later moved to Kamloops, BC where she remarried to Tom Curtis.
She later returned to Chilliwack, BC where she lived until recently. The last few months of her life she spent in loving care of her daughter Lynn & Son-In-Law Michael in Vancouver, BC
Thelma maintained her determination and positive attitude to the end. Her pioneering spirit served her well throughout her life and we are sure that she will still be scouting new pathways in the afterlife, we would like to thank the palliative care workers who made Thelma’s final days easier and express gratitude to our Health Care System for all the structure and support that is second to none.
You will be greatly missed Sister, Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, friend & neighbor.
