Thelma Mied passed away on Sept. 26, 2005 at the Bradley Centre, Chilliwack, B.C. at the age of 80 years. She was born on Nov. 11, 1924 at Caverswall Stoke on Trent, England.
Thelma is survived by her husband, Walter, sisters-in-law, Kathleen Box of Unity, Sask., Monica Kelly of Mississauga, Ont., and Josephine (Michael) Romansky of Edmonton, Alta; brother-in-law, Albert Mied of Edmonton, and cousin, Barbara ( Don) Johnson of West Bloomfield, Michigan. She was predeceased by her foster brother, Frederick Box, in Jan. 2005.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, Unity, Sask. on Friday, October 7th, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with interment at Lakeview Cemetery, Macklin, Sask. adjacent to her parent’s graves. Rev. Jonathon Hoskins officiating.
Should friends and family so desire, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of choice or the St. John’s Anglican Parish Unity Fund.
