It is with sadness that Ted’s children would like to announce that their father passed out of this life on February 25, 2023 at the age of 96 years. He married his beloved wife Nellie on January 25,1951 and lived in Chilliwack for most of their married lives.
Ted is predeceased by his wife Nellie, their baby daughter Nelly Tony, 5 siblings and 19 in-laws. Ted is survived by his son Andy (Linda), daughters Emily (Neil) Hilliard, Connie Stam, Rita (John) Arnoldussen, and Joanne (Art) Den Bok; 19 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, 2 sisters, 3 sisters-inlaw, and one brother-in-law.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Dr. Epp and the wonderful nurses at the Cascade Hospice who gave such excellent palliative care to our father during his four weeks there.
A funeral service will be held for Ted on March 2, 2023 at 11:30am at the Bethel Netherlands Reformed Congregation located on Broadway Ave. in Chilliwack.
