(June 24, 1947 - Sept. 3, 2008)
Sylvia was hospitalized on July 4, 2008 at Chilliwack General Hospital. She gave us 10 weeks of life with her and passed away very peacefully on Sept. 3, 2008.
Sylvia will be sadly missed by her husband, Jim, of 39 years, soulmate for 42 years since August 1966, her son Joe, daughter Brandi, grandsons Brody, Josh and Seth. She is survived by brother Bill (Carol) sister in-law Gail (John) and aunts, uncles and many nephews, nieces, cousins who will miss her. Also numerous friends.
Sylvia was into karate for 17 years and was looking at helping teach the younger kids this fall. She had a passion for “I Love Lucy” and was an avid collector. Richard known as ‘Weekies” knows this well.
There will be a service and celebration of her life at Central Community Church, 46100 Chilliwack Central Rd. on Tues. Sept. 9, 2008 at 2:30 pm with tea & coffee in the Cedar Room with Pastor Ron Vanakker.
Family is so grateful to Dr. Lisa Legressly for her great care and all the nurses and caregivers during her stay at Chilliwack General Hospital.
