Susan Justine Frasee passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at the Chilliwack General Hospital at age 91 years. She was born in Rush Lake, Saskatchewan, on February 6, 1918. Susan is survived by three sisters: Helene Frasee, Sally (& Stan) Snelgrove, and Esther Blair. She was predeceased by her parents, David and Helena Froese, and 6 sisters, Mary, Elizabeth, Kathrine, Anne, Linda, and Ruth.
She was also a beloved aunt who has impacted the lives of her nieces and nephews and their families: Walter (& Rita) Schmidt, Betsy-Alice Babbs, Bob (& Elia) Schmidt, Mary Schmidt, Priscilla Schmidt, Timothy Schmidt, Shirley Snelgrove (& John Yule), Dave (& Sharon) Esau, Dan (& Shirley) Esau, Dwight (& Shirley) Esau, Dorothy Esau, Daphne (& Art Kamphuis), Loren (& Becky) Warkentin, Janet (& Henry) Armstrong, Elley (& Phil) Toews, Jim (& Denise) Warkentin, Doug (& Lorna) Warkentin, James (& Charlotte) Blair, and Rob Blair.
After a viewing at the Henderson Funeral Chapel, a graveside funeral for Susan Frasee was held at 3:00 PM on Monday, July 27, 2009, at the Chilliwack Cemetery.
Susan Frasee was a beloved elementary school teacher, beginning her career in Grassy Plains in the 1950’s, then moving on to teach in Clearwater, in Victoria, then North Vancouver, and finally in Sardis. Now with the Lord she loved so dearly, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
