Susan
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Susan Enns. Susan passed away in her 91st year at ARH on August 6, 2011. Susan was a cherished wife, mother, Nana, and Oma.
Susan was born on September 29, 1920 in Zentral, Russia, one of Abraham and Anna Sawatzky’s 12 children. The Sawatzky family immigrated to Canada in 1925, settling in Saskatchewan and later moving to BC in 1930.
Susan married Peter Enns on April 20, 1941.
Susan is survived by her sister Freda; son Ernie (Evelyn); granddaughter, Diana (Andy); grandson, Darrin (Bradina); and great-grandchildren: Avaya and Keatyn.
Susan was predeceased by her great-grandson Joshua (2007) and her husband of 69 yrs, Peter (2010).
A visitation will be held Friday, August 12, 2011 from 7 to 9 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd, Abbotsford.
A private family graveside service will be held at Greendale Cemetery. A celebration of Susan’s life will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 1 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to MCC would be appreciated.
