Susan Stubbs passed away on November 30, 2007 at Chilliwack, BC at the age of 82. She was born in Amsterdam, Holland, on October 11, 1925.
Susan is survived by her loving family; children Vandy, Carol (Rainer), Bert (Janelle); grandchildren John, Alice (Brad), Jennifer, Alayna, Aaron (Alix), Sara; family in Europe Bram (Iet), Lia, Ida, and Fritz; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was sadly predeceased by her first husband Wilson Mattice (in 1960); her parents Juantje and Abraham; brother Cor, and her second husband (of 37 years) Roger.
Susan was active in the Ryder Lake community for over 37 years, helping on the farm with cattle, poultry, and berries. She worked for many years with Chilliwack Homemakers, and had a great passion for her flower garden, baking and knitting.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 5th 2007, in the chapel of Woodlawn Mt Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Avenue, Chilliwack, BC.
