September 21, 1932 - December 9, 2018
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, father-in-law, Opa, Great-Opa and brother, Steve Guliker on December 9, 2018 at Chilliwack General Hospital.

Dad was born September 21, 1932 in Leiden, Netherlands. He immigrated to Canada with his family in 1951 to Picture Butte, Alberta and in 1955 moved to Chilliwack, BC and was a farmer in both Chilliwack and Rosedale until his retirement. Dad was predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years, Jean in 2013; parents, Jan (1981) and Maria (1993) Guliker, his brother John Guliker (1987) brothers-in-law Frank Boesterd (2007) and Gil Grisnich (2015). He was also predeceased by 3 nieces, Jane Grisnich, Leola Guliker and Doreen Vandenberg and 1 nephew, Gerald Guliker.

Dad is survived by his son, John (Willy) Guliker; grandson, Johnny (Ruth) Guliker and great grandchildren, Jorden, Kaylie, Zachary and Brynlee, grandson, Benjamin (Denise) Guliker and great grandchildren, Chase and Aria; and grandson William (Melissa) Guliker. His daughter, Wilma (John) Kliever; grandson, Ernie (Emma Kliever) grandson Craig Kliever and grand-daughter Annie Kliever; his daughter Cathy (Brian) Zimmerman and grand-daughter, Courtney Zimmerman and great grandson Jackson. Dad is also survived by his sisters, Necia Guliker, Joanne Grisnich and Mary (Jack Vandenberg) brothers Ed (Willy) Guliker, Casey (Alberta) Guliker and Harry (Juliana) Guliker and sister-in-law Corrie Boesterd as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

The family would like to thank Dr. Basson and Dr. Markey for their care and kindness throughout the years. A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated, devoted and nurturing staff at Sunset Manor who became as family as well as the RCNA Home Care volunteers and staff who helped care for dad with so much love and affection.

Occasion for condolences for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 7 - 8 pm at the Reformed Congregation of North America, church hall located at 9696 Gibson Road (corner of Yale and Gibson Rd). The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 10 am at 9 Reformed Congregation of North America. Interment will follow at Chilliwack Cemetery.

No flowers by request. If desired, donations can be made to Sunset Manor Care Home or the Reformed Congregation of North America Home Care.
