Steve Cowie passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 18, 2003 at the age of 49 years.
Survived by his loving wife and high school sweetheart, Sheree; son Tyler (21 years); and daughters, Brandi (18 years), and Jodi (15 years). Also survived by his brother Jim (Val) Cowie of Chilliwack; sisters, Gail (Brent) Mash of Chilliwack, and Jill Cowie of Summerland; his mother Doreen and his father Bruce; and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by a sister Janice Cowie in 1977.
Memorial service was held on Thursday, May 22, 2003 at 2 p.m. from First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Lance Morgan officiating. Cremation followed in the Fraserview Crematorium.
Funeral service was under the direction of Assman’s Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rotary Hospice House.
Steve’s passion was his cabin and he will be deeply missed by the ridge crew.
