Stephen "Steve" Duncan
May 25, 1938 - January 5, 2017
Steve, aged 78, passed away peacefully with his loving wife, Christine, by his side. He was born in Middlesbrough, England and immigrated to Canada in 2002 to enjoy the beautiful outdoors of British Columbia. Steve had a passion for adventure and lived each day to the fullest. Shortly after moving to B.C. he joined the Chilliwack Search and Rescue and eventually started seriously training, on his road bike, for the B.C. Senior Games. While biking, paragliding, kayaking, hiking, flying, sailing, camping, skating or snowshoeing, Steve made many good friends. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him. Steve's Celebration of Life will be held at Henderson's Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Ave. Chilliwack, on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Chilliwack Search and Rescue would be appreciated. www.chilliwacksar.org
