Stella Rose Wallace (Kwemleykwemot) passed away on September 15, 2012 at Chilliwack, BC at the age of 51 years.

Stella grew up as the oldest of nine children; two sisters and six brothers. At the age of 17 years old she started her own family, she had four daughters. Stella always wanted a son, so she was blessed with five grandsons, one great-grandson and a granddaughter.

Stella faced a lot of challenges throughout her life but always found a way to see the positive side of things and tried her best for her daughters and grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her laughter and her smile. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Stella Rose is survived by her parents, Terry and Sophinia Prest; daughters: Tanya Rose Douglas (Andrew Commodore), Teresa Malloway (Arnel Agudelo II), Bobbi Malloway and Amanda Malloway; granddaughter, Shaylee Commodore (Corey Nahanee); grandsons: Leroy Douglas-Commodore, Austin Douglas, Arnel Agudelo III, Julius Malloway, Edwin Malloway-George; great-grandson, William Commodore-Nahanee.

Sadly predeceased by: sister, Colleen Obenaus; Uncle, Ken Wallace; Niece, Danielle St. Denis; Father, Paul Bisaillon.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 21, 2012 at Tzeachten Community First Nation Hall, Promontory Rd., Vedder, BC with Wendy Ritchie officiating.

Visitation will be held at Spath Lalem on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Soowahlie First Nation, Cherry Lane at 7pm.

Burial will be at Soowahlie First Nation Cemetery.
