Father passed away peacefully at Heritage Village in Sardis, B.C.
Born in Abbotsford, Stan lived the duration of his life in Chilliwack B.C. He was the eldest of six.
Stan married Betty McKivor June 2, 1951 and had a very fulfilled life together for 66 years. His wife (mom) sadly passed away Nov 12, 2017.
They had three daughters, Brenda Hall (son-in-law) Leonard Hall, Patty Rolls, Kim Lemna, (son-in-law) Mark Lemna. Five grand children and 6 great grand children.
Dad was the best. A very kind hearted, hard working and caring father. Everybody loved him!
He worked for many years at Coast Tractor in Chilliwack as the shop foreman, heavy duty mechanic and engineer. Also enjoyed welding and building his own equipment. He took pride in teaching heavy duty mechanics to the students at night school in Chilliwack, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Anything that needed repaired dad could fix it.
His great love was being outdoors, but most of all taking his boat out on the water. He travelled to many wonderful places with Betty, but his favorite was anywhere there was a lake, ocean and the warmth of the sunshine. Dad enjoyed dancing, horseshoes and spending time with the family.
Hi celebration of life is pending till late Spring.
We will miss you dearly dad, but will always have many fond memories forever in our hearts.
