It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lyndon (Stretch) McLean.

Lyndon was born and raised in Shaunavon, Sask.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Janice and his son Bradley (Chris) grandchildren Laura, Mellisa and Jennifer and sons: Patrick Bryan (Therese) grandchildren: Owen and Jocelyn, Michael Bryan (Liz) grandchildren: Justin, Megan, Joshua, Shannon, and James Bryan (Vera) and grandchildren: Julie and Nicolas as well as granddaughters: Jessica and Linda; his in-laws: Sandra and Raymond Gagnon, Chilliwack, B.C. as well as his many nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his brother Dave (Frances) from Lindsay, Ontario, Jack (Eleanor) from Thunder Bay, Ontario, and his sister Eleanor Lindburg from Aldergrove, B.C.

He was predeceased by sons Kevin and Lyndon.

Lyndon spent 39 years serving with the RCMP throughout British Columbia which included Vancouver, Vernon, Trail, Vanderhoof and Prince George.

He was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed spending his leisure time exploring the wilderness and the many lakes and rivers throughout BC.

We would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Oostenbrink and to the 5th floor nursing staff at Chilliwack General Hospital.

There will be no service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
