September 15, 1943 - January 2, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of St. Clair "Paul" Blagdon on January 2, 2025, in Chilliwack, British Columbia, where he lived for nearly 25 years. Born on September 15, 1943, in Shelburne, Nova Scotia, Paul lived 81 years as a hardworking, quiet, and devoted family man who cherished the simple joys of life.
Paul's life was deeply connected to the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, and tending to his gardens, finding peace and purpose in nature's beauty. A man of few words but great actions, Paul was known for his unwavering work ethic, his steady presence, and the quiet love he showed to those closest to him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Janet; his children, Ann-Marie, Jay, Tarra, and Terry; and his two cherished grandchildren, Cienna and Logan. Paul will also be deeply missed by his family in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, as well as by many friends and neighbors in Chilliwack.
A celebration of Paul's life will take place on February 22, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clubhouse, 6001 Promontory Road, Chilliwack, BC, V2R 3E3.
Though he is no longer with us, Paul's spirit will live on in the rustle of the trees, the flow of a quiet stream, and the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His legacy of hard work, kindness, and devotion will not be forgotten.
