- August 17, 2014. Shirley passed away suddenly on August 17, 2014 at Chilliwack General Hospital. She leaves behind her husband of 58 years Mel, two sons Dale and wife Darlene, Donald and wife Leslie, grandson Marc and her beloved cats Puff and Sassy. Her wish was not to have a formal service, just a memorial gathering of friends and family on the afternoon of her birthday, September 21, 2014 at the home of her son. This gathering will be held at Flight Line Farms, 158-216 Street, Langley, BC @ 2 pm. Shirley was cremated at a private family service.
