1949-2020 ~ The family says goodbye to Sheldon with both joy and sorrow. After many troubled years, he has found peace. Sheldon passed away at Surrey Memorial Hospital on March 15th, 2020.
He is well loved and we will miss him always. Sheldon was born in Chilliwack and attended school here. He called the Fraser Valley home with the exception of a few years spent in the Yukon.
His love for Harley 'Bikes' inspired him to open and operate the Iron Horse Harley Davidson shops, first in Chilliwack and later in Abbotsford. Sheldon was at his happiest riding with his friends on a sunny day.
Sheldon was predeceased by his parents Abe & Erna Ewert. He has left behind a son, Shayne Ewert ( Petra ), grandchildren Clayton & Gracie Ewert and a daughter Crystal Douglas. Sheldon is also survived by his brother Alan Ewert (Linda) and two sisters, Marilynn Stebbins and Brenda Zacharias.
A celebration of life will be held for Sheldon at a later date.
