Shawn Mark Walberg

May 26, 1985 - February 23, 2025

Shawn Walberg was born on May 26, 1985, in Matsqui, BC, and passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, with his wife and children by his side. Shawn drew strength from his faith as he fought his short battle with cancer with remarkable grace and courage.

Shawn will be remembered as a hardworking, caring, and generous man who was taken from us at the young age of 39. He took great joy in his career in landscaping, hosting family and friends weekly, boating, hunting, and watching sports on his deck.

Shawn is lovingly remembered by his wife Holly, and their three children, Haley, Logan, and Maxwell. He is also survived by his father, Ron Walberg; his three brothers, Brenton & Paula, Travis & Lisa, and Justin & Kelly; his mother-in-law, Karen Covert; his

brothers-in-law, Kyle & Caity and Nick & Renee; and his sister-in-law, Abby & Tyson. He was a devoted uncle to 18 nieces and nephews, a cherished nephew to his aunts and uncles, a beloved cousin to many, and a lifelong friend to all who knew him.

Shawn is predeceased by his mother, Irene Walberg (2023), and his father-in-law, Tom Robertson (2023).

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on March 3, 2025, at Central Community Church, 46100 Chilliwack Central Road, Chilliwack.
