September 18, 1949 – July 9, 2018
Sharon passed away suddenly on July 9th at the age of 68. She will be sorely missed by her love of forty-one years, Graeme, their two daughters Katie and Krista (Crawford), her son-in-law Matt, and her three grandsons Owen, Andrew, and Ben, who were the lights of her life. Sharon was a very special grandma to those three little sweet peas who all adored her.
She is survived by three brothers and one sister: Robert, Ronald, Roderick and Jean (Mason). Sharon made many friends far and wide who loved her generous spirit and exquisite taste that shone through everything she did. Her artistry in photography, calligraphy, and design was one-of-a-kind.
Sharon put everyone ahead of herself and many described her as the glue that held circles of friends together. From building and decorating a log house in the Christian Valley to working in a school library, Sharon carried everything off with style, grace, and a wonderful sense of humour. She was the heart of our family and celebrated all our special occasions, making life beautiful every day.
Our world is a sadder place now that she is no longer a part of it. We will never forget how Sharon touched the hearts of so many people. A Celebration of Life for this beautiful lady will take place in mid-August.
