It is with deep sadness that the family of Sharon Mildred Trabant announce the peaceful passing of their beloved wife and mother on April 13, 2008, while holding the hand of her soul mate and husband of nearly 46 years, Ken.
Sharon was born on December 17, 1944 to Eleanor and Edward Toews of Abbotsford, BC, who passed away long before her.
While she worked most of her life as a dedicated wife and mother she also owned and operated a hair salon in Aldergrove, BC, in the late 70’s and early 80’s before moving to Salmon Arm in 1981 to become more involved in her children’s teenage years.
In Salmon Arm she made many friends that will miss her warm smile and fun sense of humour.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Ken, of Salmon Arm; her three children: Randy, of Dundern, Sask; daughters: Lisa (Tim Hrycaiko) of Drayton Valley, Alta, Vicki (Chris Welyk), of Salmon Arm; and daughter-in-law, Cheryl Trabant, of Angus, Ontario.
She leaves behind five grandchildren: Dale and Mike Trabant of Ontario, Sean Hrycaiko, of Alberta, Austen and Kenidy of Salmon Arm, and her special pet Schnauzers Lizzie and Samson.
A celebration of life will be held in the summer as per Sharon’s wishes.
