Sandy passed away in her sleep Friday, June 20, in Chilliwack, B.C. following complications of a long battle with Crohn’s disease.
She will be dearly missed by her family; Claude Riddle and son Kelsey; three special grand-children: Alexa, Zachary and Mackenzie; and grandma Eunice Riddle.
Sandy is survived by her mother Phyllis Downing; brother, Clare Downing; Laurie Pelkie and their children Jacqueline, Amy and Zoe; and sister Leslie Lucas, Peter Lucas and their children Michael, David, Rob and Daniel.. Thank you to Dr. Bull of Chilliwack General Hospital for his kindness and care of Sandy. In lieu of flowers, donations will be greatly appreciated to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of Canada, 433 Marborough Way NE #240, Calgary, AB T2A 7E7. A private memorial will be held in Langley, BC on Friday, June 27, 2003.
