Sandra Janet Allaway, was born January 17, 1943 in Toronto; she died in Chilliwack on September 2, 2019, previously of Kingston Ontario & Kitimat, BC.
She is survived by her husband James Allaway; daughter, Marion Lynn Allaway; grandchildren, Amie, Chelsie and Katie.
Sandy loved her children and her dogs. She fostered numerous special needs children for almost 30 years.
No flowers please, donations in lieu to the local SPCA or animal shelter she would appreciate.
Sincere thanks to staff at Abbotsford and Chilliwack hospital and especially Cascade Hospice of Chilliwack. Their tender care and compassion was of great comfort to all of us who witnessed Sandy's final moments.
