Sally Rae Andersen (O'Byrne) 86 peacefully passed away November 30, 2021with her family by her side. Sally was born February 21, 1935 to Mel & Nonie O'Byrne and lived her entire life in Chilliwack. In 1951 Sally married Fred Andersen and the union produced 4 sons. She would come to say that her biggest and most challenging accomplishment was surviving the raising of these very active boys. Sally and Fred supported their sons in every sport they played and the year round activities kept the family busy at arenas and ball fields. In her retirement from York Farms, Sally enjoyed her gardening, bingo, going to the casino and was an avid reader. Sally was predeceased by her parents, her husband Fred and brother Robert O'Byrne as well as 2 great grandchildren Jacob and Jemma. She is survived by her sons, Denis (Audri), Brian (Sally), Mark (Marilyn) and Brad (Nikki), her 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Sally's legacy will live on in our hearts and we will miss her terribly. At her request no service will be held. In lieu of flowers a donation to Children's Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
