Ruth McLeod (nee Pascoe) passed away on October 9, 2007 at Chilliwack, B.C. aged 91 years. Born in Winnipeg, March 22, 1916 she came to B.C. in 1950 and had lived on Vancouver Island and Vancouver.
She moved to Cultus Lake in the early 60’s. Those were her happiest days spent with her dog Buffy and her cat Simea and many of friends.
She was one of the original members of the Cultus Lake O.A.P, and a member of the Eastern Star.
She worked part-time as a secretary for Cultus Lake Elementary School, later worked full time at Chilliwack Central Store for School District #33 until she retired in 1981.
She is survived by her daughter Judy Hollander of Chilliwack, great-great-granddaughter Angela Woeckener.
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday October 25, 2007 at Cultus Lake Memorial Church at 1:00 PM, Rev. Weldon Holland officiating. Cremation.
The family would to thank Cascade Lodge for the marvelous care she received during her stay there.
