It is with great sadness that the family announce the sudden passing of Russell, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
Russell lived a very full life of 87 years. He was a world traveler, hunter, fisherman, dancer and sports lover. The Blue Jays were his favorite team and he never missed any curling on TV.
He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, three wives and one son. He is survived by his daughter and constant companion Carol, sons Lyle and Marlon, four sisters Shirley (Rick) Margarite, Leona and Marlene (George). He had two grandsons Rod and Rick, two great-grandchildren Jordan and Jazmine, several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 16 at 12:30 pm at Vedder View Gardens Cemetery with a gathering at Royal Canadian Legion #280 in Vedder at 1:30 pm.
