I will miss Roy (my sweetie). Roy passed away, surrounded by his loving family on January 9th 2011 at the Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 81. Roy was born on January 22, 1929 in Grayson, SK to Peter and Mary Weisenberger. He was #22 born into a family of 23 children. He moved to Vancouver, BC at the age of 15 with his mother and 4 siblings after his father Peter passed away on the farm. He became a plumber. Roy loved to play hockey in his younger days. He also loved to curl and golf with many of his friends.
Roy will be unbelievably missed by his loving wife of 41 years, Angela; his daughter, Nancy (Rick); granddaughter, Tiffany; son, David (Karen); grandchildren, Kari, Dori and Tim. He will be greatly missed by his many, many friends.
We would like to acknowledge the kindness and thoughtfulness of the Paramedics and the Chilliwack Hospital nurses and doctors for making Roy’s and our final hours together so peaceful. Until we see you again, your loving family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 1:00 pm on January 22, 2011 at the Halcyon Meadows Clubhouse, 46000 Thomas Rd. Chilliwack, BC.
