Ronald Leigh passed away peacefully on May 22, 2003 in the Chilliwack Hospital, at the age of 78.
Ron was a navy veteran of the Second World War who served on Landing Craft during D-Day.
Ron will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his wife and soulmate Norma; brother Len; daughter Terry (Rob); son Dan (Sharon); grandchildren, Clint (Michelle), Mark (Claire), Megan and Matt; great-grandchildren, Brendan, and Candace (Ty); and great-great-granddaughter Sydney.
In place of a memorial, there will be a Celebration of Life, held later in June.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation be made in Ron’s name.
