Beloved by Vi over 74 years, father to Ron Jr. (Barb), Len (Donna), Diane (Wayne), grandfather to eight children and eight great-grandchildren. Ron was born in Moose Jaw, SK. He and Vi raised their family in North Battleford. He began working at the age of 16, took leave to serve with the Royal Canadian Navy in WWII for 3 years and then built a successful career that spanned 56 years, as an optician in the optical business. Ron managed offices in North Battleford, Saskatoon, and Calgary for Imperial Optical. After 35 years, he became an independent when he opened Sahali Optical in Kamloops. Ron was admired greatly and will be missed, forever.
