He is survived by his wife, Dianne Lynne Moore, his three sons, Dan, Wayne and Jason, his grandsons, Brayden, Ryder, Connor, Eli and his granddaughters, Haley and Gemma; granddaughter in law Hailey and his daughter in laws - Dani, Shaina and Julie.

Ron was born and raised in Chilliwack and proud to be descended from Chilliwack pioneer families; Moore, Evans and Chadsey. Ron was well known in the farming community, trucking community and a proud resident of Greendale. Ron was a skilled professional truck driver and could operate most machinery readily. Ron loved to grow vegetables, flowers and fruit bushes and trees and was meticulous in lawn mowing and tree pruning.

Ron loved his family; he really enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles and had many trips with Dianne as well as special trips to Sturgis with each of his sons. He was proud of having ridden his Harley across Canada and putting his feet in the Atlantic Ocean. Ron rode his motorcycle many years in support of Fraser Valley Toy Run and was lead Harley many times of the group from Chilliwack.

Ron liked seeing his family all together. He was proud of his sons' work achievements and principles as well as having enjoyment in watching his sons at work around his home or yard.

Ron took pleasure in watching his sons and grandsons play soccer and drove his sons for many years to their soccer games. He enjoyed watching his grand-daughters dance.

Ron was a member for many years as well as president of Chilliwack Riding Club and rode in Chilliwack Mounted Drill team. Ron met Dianne in March of 1970 through the Chilliwack Drill Team and they married on November 21, 1970. Ron also drove chuckwagon and chariots for years and judged many horse events.

Ron was a staunch and passionate Wild Salmon Warrior; supporting British Columbia's wild salmon.

Ron has battled with declining health for the past few years since his heart failure in 2017. He overcame many bouts of illness, injury and hospitalization with his strong minded nature.

Ron's big heart, adventurous spirit and generous nature will be deeply missed by his wife and family and his many friends, but he will never be forgotten.
