Mr. Rolando Villarica passed away at Chilliwack General Hospital on April 27, 2004 at 9:40 p.m., he was 66 years old.
Mr. Villarica is survived by his wife Ercella Villarica of Chilliwack; daughter Maela Fe Villarica who resides in Vancouver; and sisters, Leticia V. Trinidad of vancouver, Norma Valdes in the Philippines, and Lydia Sulit of Los Angeles, CA.
Mr. Villarica was born in the Philippines February 11, 1938 where he was raised and served on the Manila Police Force for 11years until being wounded. He spent up to two years recuperating, after which he had to seek a career change and started anew in Canada. He eventually found work with the Correctional Services of Canada, and served for 24 years as a correctional officer.
A Funeral Mass will take place on saturday, May 1, 2004 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 8909 Mary St., Chilliwack. Fr. Gary Gordon, Celebrant.
