It is with great sadness that the family of Robyn Leigh Poff announces her passing after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the age of 53 years.
Robyn will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Chelsea, son Colton, their father Mitch, grandson Kaiden, her mother Helen, brother Darrell, sister Michele (John). Robyn will also be forever remembered by her niece Shanine, nephews, Ryan and Devan, Aunts, Uncles, extended family and dear friends. Predeceased by her father Lyle in 2005.
Robyn was born in Vancouver, BC. Her Family moved to Chilliwack in 1971. In the 1980's Robyn began a career working with children. She worked in many facilities from Vancouver to Agassiz. In the 1990's she opened her own daycare "Robyn's Nest". In 2005 Robyn entered school district 33, working in many schools as a Special Education Assistant. She was at Rosedale Elem, Sardis Elem for approx. 10 years. Last spring she went to Chilliwack Secondary, worked until last fall. She loved working with all her students, as the all adored "Ms. Poff".
The last 4-5 years Robyn enjoyed "going to the cabin" with her sister, where she discovered her talent for painting on canvas and rocks. The cabin was her place of tranquility.
