Robert Ross (Bob) Dyck was born September 18, 1918 and was the one of 10 children born to A.B. and Catherine Dyck.

He went to be with his loving Lord on September 24, 2008 at the age of 90 years, after a one-year battle with cancer.

Bob was a man of many talents, including builder, land developer, realtor.

He was instrumental in the development of Garden Park Tower in Abbotsford and volunteered his time and talents there for many years. He was a man of integrity, humility, kindness and had a wonderful sense of humor.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 66 years, Florence Ruth; three children - daughter Darlene (Kenneth) Epp, son Keith (Beryl) Dyck, daughter Bonnie Borseth; grandchildren: Karyn (Steve) Onsorge, Jason (Emmy) Epp, Kevin (Paula) Epp, Angela Dyck, Robert Dyck, Shari (Aron) Dick, Paul (Tanya) Borseth; great-grandchildren: Madeleine, Chloë, Gavin, Ashley, Kiana, Olivia, Nolan, Tara Lynn and Dominick; two sisters: Margaret Mitchell and Esther Whitehead, and many nieces and nephews.

He is pre-deceased by his parents Abram and Catherine Dyck; brothers: Jake, Ben, Abe and Don; sisters: Sarah, Kaye, and Orpha.

Viewing will be Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 6-7 PM at Garden Park Tower, Azalea Room, 2825 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford.

Memorial Services to be held on Friday, October 3, 2008 at 1 PM at Chilliwack Alliance Church, Rev. Albert Josephson officiating and Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 1 PM at Garden Park Tower in Abbotsford, Rev. Walter Wiens officiating.

Bob and Florence have “raised” at least three children through World Vision, providing food, clothing and schooling to children from Asia, Guatemala and Africa.
