Robert ‘Lloyd’ GRIFFITHS

Robert ‘Lloyd’ Griffiths passed away suddenly in Boston Bar, B.C. Friday, May 21, 2004 at the age of 52.

Known by all as ‘Lloyd’, he was born September 1, 1951 the first son of Joseph ‘Lloyd’ Griffiths and Phyllis Evelyn Griffiths (Pook).

Lloyd was a life time member of the IWA and worked in Boston Bar as well as a journeyman sawyer. He was in the milling vocation for approximately 30 years.

Lloyd is survived by his brother, Stephen (Robin) Griffiths; nephews, Adam and Shane Griffiths; nieces Aimee Griffiths and Kristy Zinkowski. Lloyd will also be missed by his Aunt Kay Griffiths, Aunt Olive and Uncle Bob Friesen as well as his many cousins.

A graveside service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Cemetery at the resting site of Joseph ‘Lloyd’ Griffiths on Monday, May 31, 2004 at 1 p.m. Padre Angus Haggarty officiating. Following the service all are invited to rejoice and celebrate Lloyd’s life at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 9350 Mary Street, Chilliwack.

Mourn not for me; but rather celebrate my life now that I rest graciously back in my Father’s arms.

A very special thanks is extended to Gordon and Betty Mitchell of Chilliwack for all their years of help to the Griffiths family.
