Robert Joseph KUSCH

Robert Joseph Kusch, known as “Rob” by friends and “Bobby” by family, passed away suddenly in a workplace accident in Winnipeg, Manitoba on July 27, 2004. Robert was born September 15, 1973 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and spent most of his early years growing up in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. Summers as a child were spent at his grandparent’s cabin at Greig Lake. He took part in youth bowling for many years and had a love for old western novels and history.

In his early twenties Robert had some struggles in his life but had worked hard to overcome these issues and was on the path to recovery. He had been working at the same job for almost two years and had made many new friends in Winnipeg.

Robert leaves behind his father Len (Connie) Kusch, his mother Donna (Joe) Berrie, his sister Terri (Jason) May, his step brothers Colin (Cheryl) Lacey, Craig Lacey, Scott Lacey, his almost sister Becky (Jeff) (Brianna) Steiger, his nephews Brodie and Logan May and his niece McKenna May.

He is also survived by his grandfather Robert Green and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Robert was predeceased by his grandparents Therese and Carl Kusch and grandmother Adeline Green.

Services to be held at Henderson’s Funeral Home on Wednesday August 4th, 2004 at 11:00 am. In leiu of flowers donations may be made in Robert’s name to the Salvation Army Hostel or the Food Bank c/o The Care and Share Center, 45746 Yale Road, Chilliwack, B.C., V2P 2N4.
