Predeceased by his parents Tom and Ella Cox, son Robbie, and sister Barbara Price.
Survived by his daughters: Barabara (Paul) Moore, Diana Michael Ann and her children; grandson, Ryan; granddaughter Vanessa Merry; grandsons: Shawn, Adam and Blair Cox; and greatgrandson: Bryce Hurley; his sister, Marty; brother Tom; step-children: Darren, Tracy and Kelly: two stepgranddaughters: Sarah ad Madline; and his partner of 25 years, Mert.
Robert was in the Navy during the Korean War and served his country and community with pride.
He volunteered at the Chilliwack Bingo Hall and Red Cross with his friend Charlie Lenz.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, May 4, 2008 at 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at 10005 Kenswood Drive.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Cross Foundation.
