Robert passed away in the Chilliwack Hospital with his family by his side.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna; brother Thomas (Kathleen) Hillier and sister, Iris Wood. He leaves behind his three children Deborah Hillier, Donald Hillier (Tiara Weaver) and Naomi Barker; his three grandchildren, Jan Hillier, Catharine Barker and Stephanie Barker; and his three step-grandchildren, Barbara Herder, Christopher Weaver and Sean Weaver.
Robert was a dedicated member of the Gizeh Shriners and a Masonic Lodge member since 1966. He was highly regarded as a well know owner of a construction company for many years. He was an inspiration to his children and grandchildren who loved him dearly. A wonderful loving husband, great friend and neighbour who was always so cheery and helpful. He made his mark his way and will always be remembered for it.
